The solar water pumps are stand-alone systems operating on power generated from solar PV modules. These are submersible pumps used for lifting water from open wells, bore wells and reservoirs, primarily for irrigation purposes. The volume of the water pumped depends on the solar radiation falling on the modules and it works independently of grid power supply.
